Alafia and Ashe.
As always and forever, I hope that when you read this message you and all in your Kingdoms are truly in the best of health and spirit.
The following is the summary of the Energy Reading I have conducted for April 2012:
The primary odu that permeates through this month is one that emphasizes the importance of maintaining a righteous character. Time must be taken to evaluate all things that are happening both around us, as well as within us. The introspection that is needed is not only relative to the here and now, but also to the bigger picture; the long-term. We must understand that only through clear thinking will we ever truly maximize the potency of good actions. We must strive to exist within the confines of our temper, for stepping outside of ourselves out of anger may only serve to further complicate our personal situations as well as feed the negative energy that builds around us.
The subset of our existence that is most affected by the energy that surrounds us is that of our Victory. This is confirmed by an odu that represents the prospect of new beginnings and endless possibilities on both our spiritual and temporal sides. The room of our victory is unlocked with the key of composure that we must individually create.
Orisha Obatala is the Orisha that should be petitioned this month to access the potential of both our spiritual and temporal sides. Through the ashe of wisdom and peace that is commanded by Orisha Obatala, we will be able to incorporate introspection and long-term thought into the foundations of our existence.
The ebbo (offering) that is prescribed to Orisha Obatala is one that can take place numerous times throughout the month. Standing in front of a mirror and meditating while looking at your reflection is what Orisha Obatala is asking for this month. Through this action we will initially be looking at the image that others see when they look at us and then looking deeper to the actions, thought processes, and routines that have come to define us. More than one look will be needed to truly see all that we are and when we can finally see the whole picture, we can make any necessary adjustments to ensure that our character, integrity, and self-worth are not being compromised in any way.
Ashe today, tomorrow, and always.
